Blue Force Gear send over news that their long awaited version 2 of the PLATEminus carrier is now ready for shipping!
PLATEminus V2
Our PLATEminus™ 2 takes the low profile, “slick” configuration of the original PLATEminus™ and adds the ability to accept 6″ x 6″ side plates. We also added a Ten-Speed® cummerbund that can hold extra M4 magazines, trauma dressings, or other smaller items.
Also never before released are PLATE 2’s in Camo Green are available – perfect for units or departments that issue any medium shade of green.
PLATEminus V2 or simply “PLATE 2” is a result of direct feedback from both BFGs extensive beta testing and customers of the PLATEminus.
PLATE 2 is the built with the same fully MOLLE compatible MOLLEminus platform as the original PLATEminus. This provides fully modular load carriage capability but significantly reduces weight and bulk over traditional armor carriers.
PLATE 2 is built around the SAPI / ESAPI armored plates, and like PLATE 1, have fully enclosed plate pockets which protect the plates and provide maximum signature management by eliminating black plates or the need for additional “socks”.
