TO OUR STATESIDE FOLLOWERS: Officers are routinely sent to alarm or unsecured building calls with no specific information on whether a structure is occupied or the level of threat posed. Often, clearing these structures in low- or no-light conditions can be precarious and difficult. This course provides training to enhance officer safety as they search unknown locations for possible threats.

IN THIS COURSE YOU WILL:

Learn how to analyze different lighting conditions and the best ways to handle them tactically.

Practice different tactics for use during a building search on approach, when at a breach-point, prior to making entry, while making entry, and after entry in different lighting conditions.

Use of Force-on-Force drills and exercises to gain confidence and understanding in all of the applied principles and tactics while using light as a tool.
