High Speed Gear releases two new versatile plate carriers, the Slick Plate Carrier (SPC) and the Modular Plate Carrier (MPC), both look great for tactical aplications.

High Speed Gear has been producing some of the most versatile tactical pouches and platforms since the late 90’s. These two new carriers are a natural progression of our versatile line of gear. We have been able to create carriers that incorporate our technology as well as the HSGI craftsmanship. In particular, the bestselling SureGrip belts and WAS/WEE shoulder pads make the MPC incredibly stable and comfortable. And the 2” gripper elastic utilized on the SPC creates a perfect platform to deploy our belt mounted pouches.

High Speed Gear – Slick Plate Carrier (SPC)

The HSG SPC Slick is a light weight plate carrier constructed 500D Cordura®. The side straps are 2″ gripper webbing with a loop lining and are perfect for adding belt mounted magazine or utility pouches. The SPC can be converted into a functional battle vest with the addition of the SPC Chest Platform (40CP00), a Sure Grip Padded Belt (31PB00) and a SGPB PC Adaptor (40PCA0).

High Speed Gear – Modular Plate Carrier (MPC)

For those looking for a complete battle ready carrier, HSGI now offers our version of the Modular Plate Carrier. The MPC starts with the slick plate carrier(40LPC), and includes a Sure Grip Belt, our Chest Platform, and a SGPB PC Adaptor (40PCA) to attach the belt to the carrier. The neoprene on the shoulder straps and the Sure Grip belt makes this one of the most stable carriers you will ever wear. The adjustable grip elastic of the sure grip belt plate adaptor allows you to easily and quickly resize the torso to fit over varying layers.

Full MOLLE side coverage provided by the Sure Grip Belt allows for additional magazine or utility storage, or is a stable base for our new adjustable side plate pouches(40SP00) available separately. An H-harness is also included so the Chest Platform can be run without the plate carrier.
