In this year edition of the IWA show in Nuremberg,Geramany. Magnum Boots will release two new tactical boots, the Lynx 8.0 for Desert operations and the Spartan ATB for Jungle operations.
Magnum Germany and Benelux will be the first been to launch the Lynx 8.0 desert side zip at IWA in Germany, where Magnum will be present at Hall 9-327. The hard wearing panels are breathable nylon and the blucher lacing system increases the fit adjustment .The padded foam collar give the support that is needed and improves the comfort. All hardware on this robust tactical boot is rustproof and will endure moist conditions. The non-metallic shank together with the EVA midsole gives the wearer the support that is needed for long shifts. The high traction outsole is designed to provide maximum grip whether used in the desert or in urban environment This boot is tested and certified to EN ISO 20347:2012 OB E FO SRA for occupational footwear. On the Magnum stand in the LAW ENFORCEMENT Hall 9-327 there will be a tracking expert giving demonstrations and advise on jungle warfare as well as animal tracking.
Tracking is a very old skill, it is to look for sign and the only tools you need are your eyes. When you use tracking skills you look for the “change of the natural state” that is inflicted by the passage or presence of animal or human. It depends on the environment what kind of sign you are able to find or follow. Sign also tells you a story about the object, speed, and load, what kind of person or animal, wounded, numbers, time, health.
These presentations will be done by our brand ambassador who works for the Dutch Corps Marines and is a specialist on jungle warfare and tracking.He will be available Saturday and Sunday where we have a sand pit and he will explain our visitors about tracking, as he is also a passionate hunter, he will demonstrate his skills on site and show them how tracking officially is done.
