THE REAL DEAL – AAC M4-2000

The AAC M4-2000 from Advanced Armament Corp. is a quick detachable 5.56mm Silencer. By eliminating approximately 97% of the muzzle report, the M4-2000 is the silencer of choice for US Navy SEALs and other US Special Operations Units. Today we’ll show you the Airsoft version of this suppressor, the PTS Syndicate MK18SD.

PTS MK18SD MOCK SUPPRESSOR

The MK18SD has a nice matt grey finish and is made from a high-grade, ultralight aluminium. The weight without the flashhider is around 200grams, which is pretty lightweight.

At the front end of the silencer you can see the engraved markings “FRONT TOWARD ENEMY” which we also can find on the real deal version. Unfortunately, PTS does’t have the licence for the full markings from AAC. So the real markings which you can see in this photo of the real M4-2000 are not present on the PTS suppressor.

Instead of the real markings, PTS added the markings “MK18SD P/N DEV556SD”at the same position. At the bottom end of the suppressor the “ON/OFF” markings are also available. The grooves at the rear side of the suppressor make it easy to screw down the suppressor even if you use gloves.

INSTALLATION

In combination with the PTS 51T flash hider or PTS BATTLECOMP 51.0 (both sold seperatly) the PTS Syndicate MK18 Mock Suppressor can be quickly and easily attached and unattached from the airsoft rifle which gives you the posibility to change your setup in just seconds.

The installation of the flash hider is also easy. Just screw off your current flash hider and screw down the new one. The PTS 51T flash hider or PTS BATTLECOMP 51.0 are available in CW and CCW. So you can use on any AEG, GBB or PTW on the market.

CONCLUSION

PTS strikes again! A solid product for a reasonable price which offers a great quality and functionality. Unfortunately the product is only available in the United States.
