Introducing | The All New ATS Tactical Gear African Lightfighter Kit
ATS put this system together as a bid on a contract for an African country who intends the system to be used in jungle operations. It was built around the parameters of what the customer wanted using ATS components.
The base of the system is the ATS War Belt and ATS War Belt Insert Belt and includes four ATS Double M4 Magazine Pouches, an ATS M26 Grenade Pouch, ATS 1 Quart Canteen Pouch, ATS Modular Hydration Carrier, and ATS Padded War Belt Harness. ATS made the grenade pouch (which amounts to a slight resizing of our existing Frag Grenade Pouch).
Quart Canteen Pouch and Padded War Belt Harness for the contract and have not offered those for sale separately yet. We expect to have those parts available through the website www.atstacticalgear.com in the next week or so.
This system is an updating and modernization of the old LC2 gun belt and H Harness with considerably more flexibility and comfort. Because these parts are all available individually through ATS or their dealers, the customer can customize the layout of the system to meet their needs with different pouches.
The Double M4 Magazine Pouches are unique in that they can be run with or without lids, which are removable. There is an adjustable 1/8th inch Elastic shock cord that runs around the body of the pouch to tighten magazine retention when the lids are removed. The entire system is made of 500D Cordura nylon and Mil Spec materials throughout for light weight and durability.
